Sundar Pichai

Sundar PichaiPichai Sundararajan, better known as Sundar Picha is an Indian-American business executive. He is one of the chief executive officers (CEOs) of Alphabet Inc., its subsidiary Google and was born in Madurai in India.[4Pichai obtained his qualification in engineering metallurgical from IIT Kharagpur. He graduated with an M.S. in the United States following his move to the United States. from Stanford University in materials science and engineering . He also earned an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he was named a Siebel Scholar and a Palmer Scholar, respectively.Pchai began his career as a materials engineer. Following a brief stint at McKinsey, Pichai moved to Google in 2004. There, he was responsible for the creation of Google Drive and also for product management and innovation. He also managed the development of Google Maps and Gmail. In 2010, Pichai also declared the open-sourcing of the new codec for video called VP8 from Google and unveiled the new video format, WebM. In 2012, the Chromebook was released. Pichai, the man who supervised the release of Android in 2012, added Android to his list of Google products.
