SarahAahoo Jahansouzshahi (10 January 1980) popularly referred to as Sarah Shahi is an American actress and former model. She portrayed Carmen in the TV show The L Word in 2005, Kate Reed in the USA Network legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-2012) and Sameen Shaw on the CBS crime drama Person of Interest (2012-2016). [2] She has also been in the role of in the role of Det. Dani Reese is a character in the show Life[3] as well as Alias. 4 She was a star in Reverie in 2018. She was a regular character in City on a Hill on Showtime in 2019[55. She was also a part of seven episodes of The Rookie playing the role of Jessica Russo in the romantic character Jessica Russo. Shahi met Robert Altman on the set Dr. T and the Women in Texas. Then, she was advised to relocate to Hollywood and received roles in Alias and Dawson's Creek. In 2005 she appeared in the role of a supporting character DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales on The L Word, which was part of its second season. Shahi's contract for two years was not renewed after the conclusion of the fourth season, and her character was cut from the show.
